RightLoad is exactly what I had been looking for functionally. It's fantastic, except for the quality of resized images. I set 'image quality' almost at the highest (results in about 200k for 800x600) but the resized images appear incredibly jagged. I suppose it comes from the resizing algorithm.
Would it be possible to replace the algorithm with a better one?
